The MESA EL34 STR-448 is a premium grade power tube that was sold as an upgrade for Mesa Boogie amplifiers. An outstanding choice for ANY EL34 based amps and all styles of music. Color coding varies but you can submit a request and we will provide it if available.

Bought quad and put it on the PL Prologue 5 power amplifier and it sounds very good. Just wow!

Ordered a quad of these for my Mesa TC100 and I made a great choice! I was initially thrown off because they use the “STR 448” number, which is usually associated with 6L6 tubes but this is indeed a big bottle EL34 and they sound great! They sound a little “fuller” than the stock STR 447 and make my TC100 scream.
