RFT 12AX7 | ECC83

Description

One of the best kept secrets in British tone is the RFT 12AX7 / ECC83 preamp tube. ECC83 is the European designation for them. RFT tubes were made in Germany. Used in new production of some of the most famous amps of the 70’s and 80’s. Commonly seen in Marshall JCM800 from that period. You have heard of Siemens, Telefunken, Amperex and Tesla. RFT manufactured many 12AX7s for those brands but these are Zaerix branded.
