The JJ 6CA7 power tube is a more powerful version of the EL34 and is a drop in upgrade. The tonal qualities are more like a 6L6 so you’ll get more of the traditional American sound from your EL34 amplifier. It has great power handling capability. This tube has perfect clarity for HiFi applications but with warmth and a smooth breakup when used in guitar amps. They have a very nice low end tone. Perfect for the vintage HiFi applications that used the original 6CA7 types.
